Overview

Eternal Wedding Bells lets couples create a digital wedding invitation in one evening: add their details, choose a template, publish, and collect RSVPs and wishes online. It had to feel as special as a printed card while being far easier to send.

The challenge

Invitations are emotional and personal, but the people making them are not designers, and their guests range from tech-savvy friends to grandparents opening a link on WhatsApp. The product needed a creation flow anyone can finish quickly, and an invitation that opens beautifully on any phone.

Who it’s for

Designing for the people who use it

  • 01Couples who want a beautiful, free alternative to printed invitations
  • 02Guests of every age opening the invitation on a phone, often from WhatsApp
  • 03Families around the world, served in 23 languages including Sinhala and Tamil

Design decisions
  • 01A neutral paper-and-ink palette lets each couple’s chosen template be the colour on the page.
  • 02One bright lime accent is kept for the main action, so “Create your invitation” is always obvious.
  • 03A live phone preview in the hero shows the finished invitation before anyone signs up.
